Having spent weeks each spring 'tock picking' our farm fields to remove all the rocks that got heaved up after the frost went out, I know how much work those walls must have been. All we did was throw the rocks into the back of a grain truck and then go dump them back in a corner. The skill that must have went into laying all that stone to form walls that have lasted all these years, is pretty incredible. Great photos
