Captain Cook park at low tide
Just north of this spot is where they
hunt for Spirit stones, some can be
found right here also. There is lots
of huge boulders here to be used
for future #bouldersunday posts.

A day late and a rock short lol
That is the way it happens sometimes
when looking for my rocks!

Thank you @nat-expressions for
having #fridaysrock!
It is wonderful to see all the rocks
from other steemians.

Spirit Stones are
Concretions.

This one was given to me
by Tom Cooper.

Hunting for Spirit Stones
along the Cook Inlet Alaska.

My stone is 3 inches by 1 inch.
Small and with a cool pattern.
Many are larger and just a little bit
of pattern, while some are mind
blowing trippy patterns and shapes.

Wow! I've never seen a rock like that before. That is very cool.

I haven't heard of spirit stones or seen stones like this. Very interesting! Do you know if they are only found where you live?

It's so exciting to see a new rock! :-)
They are found around the world large
and small, check out this link.
I wonder if there are some around your area?

Interesting! I will be on the look out for them around here.

Very nice! I've never heard of these stones before. They have a lot of character for such a plain rock! I am happy to see the #rockhound community growing and even expanding into other tags! Keep up the great work and happy hunting!

Thank you very much @bitfiend! It is great
to see more rocks on steemit, big and small
one and all 💎 :-)
Always cool to find out about a different
rock, many are kinda plain, but the ones
with wild patterns fetch a good price.
So many rocks so little time lol

How cool! I have never heard of these or seen them before. You must have been so excited to add these to your collection.

Thank you so much ❤ @whatisnew! :-)
It was and still is, just blew me away!
Reminds me of a little bear kinda lol

Thanks for listing my article in your Rocking posts!

Amazing looking lumpy stones, never seen anything like it.

You are most welcome @solominer!
Awesome when we see a new rock!
I'd never heard of them till coming
here years ago.
Best hunting spot requires some
beach buggys and a low tide! lol

@shasta

Ah nice, when I see people beach finds makes me want to go down to Savanna or somewhere to find some.

Hah dont get stuck out in the low tide, or the ocean tends to reclaim vehicles :-P
