A compadre (photo above) is visiting Da Nang from Hanoi. Our acquaintance was fostered during a rigorous month-long TEFL training course in Chiang Mai, Thailand in March 2019. We shared some typically delicious Vietnamese coffee while catching up. Despite our 18 years separation in birthdays, I can tell he is a young bro bursting with love, and that is timeless. Nice to hear about his Vietnam adventures, and provide some cautionary wisdom sprinkles. We will be getting a beer with our collective friends later on.
