We are growing about a dozen different types of pluots. The splash is a zaiger hybrid grown by dave Wilson trees. Orange outer skin with a sweet orange inner flesh. I’ll post some of our other varieties below and where to order your own bare root trees!
I HIGHLY recommend learning more about Zaiger genetics and Dave Wilson fruit trees. They are making magic happen in the valleys of California.

yesssss....the paw paw!!!!! i love that you're growing them! i first learned about them in "gaias garden" by toby hemenway...about 10 years ago when we started the forest here. i ordered a few varieties ...and didn't give them proper microclimate and they died. afternoon shade...in our zone is a MUST! about a year ago...we reacquired some lovely paw paw genetics! they are growing now in the dome. i LOVE the leaves!!!!!!! cherimoya too. that whole family of bad asses.....all call to me. mango too...lol...all of em! hey....i recently caught a few wonderful audio interviews with this author...and can't wait to read his book: passionate person alert! https://www.amazon.com/Pawpaw-Search-Americas-Forgotten-Fruit/dp/1603587039/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1524577852&sr=8-1&keywords=paw+paw+the+forgotten+fruit

Excitement time! That’s great you u got more, and always s good lesson in letting go. We’ve lost some key species too, but always time to plant more.
I was turned onto them 10 ears ago on my PDC (wow has it been that long?). Would love to see your place sometime ;) Found affinity right away as I LOVE the whole annonacea tribe and couldn’t wait to find the fruit. Then I moved to MO where the grow rampantly! Ok boy how exciting! Could barely contain the giddiness when I first tasted the large succulent wild fruit. Wow! Like mouth/body explosion to the max. Mouthgasm!
Love the rewild yourself podcast and appreciate of the episode. His book is #1 on my to get list. I’ll have to Check other audio out.
You heard of Michael Judd? He started a paw paw festival in Maryland and just finished a crowd funding project for a paw paw mini manual. We’re stoked to get it!
Glad you got more genetics. We can share some in a couple years as we have perhaps 12 cultivars (including all Peterson’s varieties). Got 50 wild seedlings in this year for future grafting plus there are hundreds growing along the ravine and forest edge on our land. Last year’s hand pollination attempts failed but we’ll try agin this.
I might be just a little passionate about this tree... did I mention cancer meds and insecticides can be extracted from leaf and tree???
Thanks for Unleashing the inner pomologist!
Blessings
