Howdy there Miss Lena! Another wonderful post here. Hey what is an aubergine? And has anyone come up with a way to make vegan bacon?

Howdy Janton, I am little bit overwhelmed with all the coments I have to reply, including yours , lol. I also posted new recipe and I gave to prepare post for tomorrow #marketfriday which I participate only occasionally. Only because Denise is my friend and she is great sport π
Anyway, aubergine is just a fancy name for plain old eggplant, lol. And vegan bacon can be made many different ways. But for you, I would recommend to go agsin with slices of portobello mushrooms, smoke liquid, salt, pepper sauteed on little bit of oil.

Just put me at the bottom of the list and whenever you get to me is fine. Portabello mushrooms taste like bacon?

I enjoy replying to you Janton, I just wish I have more time. Nevertheless, when you add smoke liquid to a portobello mushroom, it tastes almost like bacon. Of course not exactly, lol. But it's delicious, healthy and cruelty free π
