Last I heard, the radiation resistant robots working in close proximity to the core were dying. I don't think anyone knows how to deal with this. Scary shit.
They should have flooded the entire site with BORON the day after it happened, as that would have halted most of the reaction...but there is a reason we are not being told that this reaction was WANTED to be continued...it's been 7 years now...that's more than enough time for the slowest steamer to reach Japan and drop off MEGATONS of boron.
Just keeping increasing the acceptable radiation levels for everything and it will all be okay. Wink Wink
