After my first private lesson with @polebird, I decided I needed more pole in my life! Now that I've got all of the basics down (hahah yea right...), we decided to move on to harder moves and add a bit of style to our performance.
This first move was probably my favorite, because it was somewhat achievable. @polebird added a bit of flare to the end of her move, and well, I decided to make my own version of it. As you can see, different pole artists have different techniques or achieving the same move.
This next move was EXTREMELY difficult... and I was not able to lift my legs all the way up and back down. This requires a lot of core and arm strength. All I could add was a bit of attitude!
I've always thought climbing a pole wouldn't be too difficult... well I was wrong! It takes so much strength in your arms and coordination to climb up the pole properly. Here @polebird climbs up and then does a beautiful drop... here I am climbing up and well modifying the moves! :)
This last move is called chair... if done right you can look extremely graceful, like you are air walking. If done incorrectly, you can look like a crazy person running in circles! Try and guess who did it right below! :P
Fun fact about @polebird. Did you know that she is a pole champion!?!?! Yup, she's a pretty cool and talented lady.
I hope you found this post entertaining and I hope gave you a good laugh and smile!
