| I found some very cool mushrooms earlier this year. It is still hard to find them now. The heat and very dry weather is to blame. They only start to appear in late winter when the ground is wen enough after the winter rains and it is getting a bit warmer. There is not a chance to find them now. | Na początku tego roku znalazłam całkiem fajne grzyby. Tu w Portualli cieżko cokolwiek znaleźć jesienią. Ciągle jest bardzo gorąco i sucho. Dopiero wiosną, kiedy wszystko jest przesiąknięte zimowymi deszczami i robi sie ciepło wyskakuja takie cuda. |

| And this orange one was probably one of my favourite. Growing on a piece of broken Cork tree branch. I could lift it, turn it... take the photos and put it back in the grasses. Maybe it is not the most unusual, but I love how it photographed. The perfect round shape and all the gills under. And it had two little sisters :) How cute! | Ten pomarańczowy to jeden z moich ulubieńców. Rósł sobie na kawałku złamanej gałezi dębu korkowego. Mogłam sobie całość podnieść, poobracać... porobić zdjęcia, a potem położyć z powrotem w trawie. Może nie jest on jakiś niezwyły, ale idealnie się go fotografowało. Taki okrąglutki, równe blaszki i jeszcze dwa kurdupelki jako bonus. Dla mnie bomba! |

Haha.. nah the term wood loving mushroom means it grows on stumps, logs or other woody material. Just like there is poo loving mushrooms like with cow patties and other special kinds.
Yea I figured that out... just didn't read properly the first time.. or the second time :p
