When doing sound at a club , The Bohemian as I recall one of the Musicians asked another ( who was obviously married ) how he managed to bring home another guitar?
Now here is where it gets really interesting!
"I use the Alan Bibb Method.". As you can well imagine , my ears pricked up at that, especially 'cause I did not know this Character.
" What is that his mate asks".. "Let me explain this method to you?, You lust after a new Guitar , you do not mention it to your Wife.
You leave the house to go and collect it , you do not tell her where you are going.
When you arrive with your new ( love, acquisition, prize, answer to lust) if you are not able to smuggle it past her to a waiting closet. She will attack you with her feminine wiles ie," Whose is that, why did you not tell me about it,where did it come from and the dreaded ,How much did it cost"
This is where the plan/method comes in
"You know I love you and hate you to be upset"
If I had discussed it with you you would have been upset , and we would have had a fight! When I left to obtain it we would have had another fight. When I brought it back ,like now ,we are having a fight.
So ,as always, thinking of your feelings, My darling , I have turned 3 fights into 1.!
You cannot argue with my logic , It works with Cars, Motorbikes, Hi-Fi, and whatever your hobby is.
Technically it is the Cowards Way Out but don't let them find that out.
When this Guy had finished explaining this to his friend , I walked up and introduced myself, and said it was practically word perfect. He had learned the system from Heath F, Grants older Brother ( Remember The Band, Sandbox?) Heath has used my various systems of getting away with things for years, and says they cannot really be improved upon.
