RE: MemeLogic - Fear Leads To...

It just occurred to me. Eureka, I have the answer. I think we SHOULD provide basic health care, for a number of reasons. But now I know how to fund it without removing an F35 from the roster every 5 years.

Couch it as Corporate Welfare. That way no company would ever be forced to provide health care for the grubbing peasants ever again. Morgan Stanley could just pocket the difference. THINK OF THE BOTTOM LINE!

Just fund it by removing the oil exploration grants and tax relief. Call it 'the Rockefellers have enough' amendment. If Standard/Exxon/Mobile needs further oil exploration maybe consider it a business expense? Instead of a National Defense Need. Would that be so hard?

Sorry. I get wound up from time to time. Thanks for the selection as always. Wouldn't want to not make ONE F35 every 5 years.

No don't be sorry, I completely agree with you, why is policing to world the responsibility of the American tax payer? That is completely ludicrous, at least make other countries pay for it, but they don't, they just write IOU's. I also think at the same time you can't have open boarders with a welfare state, it's either one or the other.
