If it were up to me I'd legalize all drugs and let natural selection take over. Don't vote so I can't answer that. No body likes Jeff sessions why do we even tolerate these people.

We could legalize murder and cannibalism and let natural selection take over, but it wouldn't make for a strong and prosperous society. There's some bad shit going around out there. I have lost loved ones to drug overdoses. Drug addiction is a medical issue, and should be treated as such. Jail doesn't help anyone, and should only be used for violent criminals.
Somebody likes Jeff Sessions. He got elected to the senate four times. Maybe if all the people that hated him would have voted against him, he would have never been elected.
I've lost some close people too and wait for phone calls about others but at the end of the day it's not my job to tell others what to do. Comparing murder to drug use is extreme and actually cannibalism is legal in America they get you on the murder kinda weird really. We have random laws enforced at random.
I'm sorry you have lost people. Personally, it made me want to hunt down the dealer that got her started, and beat the living shit out of him. Normally, I don't advocate prison for non-violent drug offenders, but that motherfucker needs to be in prison for the rest of his life.
That being said, this is a good opportunity to demonstrate where Democrats take a very different approach. Democrats want to build hospitals and schools. Republicans want to build prisons and police stations. Check the budget proposals if you don't believe me. Republicans gave us the war on drugs. Democrats gave us legal adult recreational marijuana.
When you get that phone call, would you rather it was from a nurse at a hospital, or a cop at a police station?
Probably the police station honestly better in trouble than dead.
