It is ridiculously hot, fortunately my parents live on Seneca Lake and I live five minutes from them :)
Didn't it feel like fall was on its way? What happened? Ha, I shouldn't complain, NY winters are too long and I'm not in any hurry for it to begin, but is it me or have you noticed that NY seems to have only two seasons now, with tiny teasers of spring and fall?
I'm guessing its worse in the city, I have family on Long Island and they tell me now is not the time to visit, so I'm heading north to Vermont to visit other family instead :)
Yeah, that's very much my feeling too. The last few years it's been Summer and Winter here. More binary than gradual. Strange. I love Vermont! Have a great time up there.
