Here's the problem with that though. If whales keep being predictable, keep upvoting the same kinds of posts over and over while other content goes unnoticed and unrewarded, then guess what? People will stop making content. Or worse, steemit will just become a giant clone factory as posters create nothing but knock offs of things that whales like.
We already see this happening. Some guy got 1000 bucks for saying "Oh man, look at this weed. I sure like weed" with a picture of some weed. And now there are tons of similar posts. I think if it keeps going like this, it's not gonna do good things for the community.
I see your point and I agree. But I wouldn't worry about it. In the end if what you say really does happen and people just stop posting because their content is ignored over some meaningless crap then I can almost promise you that STEEMIT market wont last very long.
