i had seen this on 9-gag a little while ago and it is a scenario that totally has happened to me. I remember seeing something along the lines of printer ink being the most valuable commercially-available liquid on the planet.
A few years back i bought a printer on some absurdly low price sale and later found out why that is, the ink cartridges were extremely small and cost an absolute fortune. Also, much like the cartoon suggests, if you ran out of any of the colors, nothing would print until you got a brand new cart. I hate that crap. Now i don't even have a printer and if i ever need to print something i just go to a print shop where i can print B&W pages for .25 Baht per page. This is less than 1 US cent.
