RE: Showcase Sunday: Mr. Himself, At Your Service

in #funny5 years ago

Lol bro, I was just kidding. Following you from a long time. But been absent from steemit from an year or so.

I was just trying to come up with funny responses, wasn't complaining.

Guess I failed to do so.

You are one of the best comic person here that I follow, I surely wouldn't get offended by you or complain about your posts.

I was just trying to have some good time, as I was getting bored.

Sorry if I offended you in some way, I will delete my comment if you want.

Leave your comment. Again, I'm not offended. It looks like you're angry with Mr. Himself. That's fine with me because Mr. Himself is a fucking asshole.

Because of the way you started out, complaining, I wasn't sure if you were playing along or being serious. If you look at some of the old posts when I first published these, you'd see I'd get a lot of joke responses and often respond in character as Mr. Himself, being a complete prick, and it was a good time.

This wasn't like that, but I won't say you failed. I looked at what you sometimes write and thought the satire offended you, since you sometimes write the stuff I was basing the parody on. Just know, it wasn't directed at you.

Anyway. Have a good day.

You too bro!

Sorry for the confusion as well. I had spent all night putting this together, formatting, fixing errors. Probably read it all 10 times over... and I'm still finding mistakes.

Needless to say, I've been out of it all day.

I understand bro, it's all good. I was just trying to be funny. Instead made you confused and all.
I know, it's really hard to create content like this.
I write 500-800 words, and it drains all my energy and you have written a post well over 8000 words, I can only imagine what it would have taken to write, organise, format and edit it.

Oh well. Shit happens. The writing was already done. #Showcase-Sunday is something I thought up awhile back, allowing folks to rework old work into new posts. Each 'act' here was an individual post at one point in the past. Putting it all into one post means I won't have to sift through 1000 posts now to find this stuff, and I can share it with one link, rather than 11 links. I've done this before with Haffanower, which had more words than this post, and I did it with It's Done as well. I still had to find everything, re-read, select which posts I wanted here, reformat certain parts since it bugs me there's no double space after sentences. Not complaining though. Just tedious work and I was kind of hoping people would actually read it. I honestly thought you were mocking me when you griped about the length. From there I thought this was a waste of time and that mindset just carried on throughout the day.

Really sorry to hear that, it's just that I always thought your profile was a comic and humorous one.

And I never thought that you will take the comments seriously, because I was used to reading your funny comments on even some serious steemit issues.

That's why I was trying to come up with funny things to say.

Good that I learned a few things from this instance, not to comment on someone's work without knowing all about it.

I was hoping to exchange some funny comments, whereas we end up explaining shit to each other.

I really hope that I don't do something like this(hurting someone's work feelings) in the future.
(BTW, I actually read all the 11 posts, some of them were really funny.)

Just one of those days, man. Don't worry about it.

Usually things do get pretty funny around here, in my world. I have a lot of fun with it. The blog has been somewhat quiet lately. I think I'm a bit frustrated about that, in general. LOL! This post was a total flop in my mind. Not much action and communication breakdowns. That's not like me, at all.

I appreciate the fact you did enjoy the humor. Again, I apologize for not being my usual self. I could make a million excuses but.. meh. Just one of those days. Being honest isn't such a bad thing though. I don't want to make enemies here or alienate the few who remain that still do enjoy my stuff most days.
