It Just Doesn't Work
You can not remove the rights to own property, what would mean that your body is owned by someone else.
These are the rights which human rights are based on, and a community can not own everyone's property, because who will these leaders be that get to decide how the distribution happens. What if it gets decided by people who might not like what you believe in, or maybe they just don't like you because you have lots of money. These are some questions to consider, just think a bit further as to how it would work in practice. What if I don't want to be part of this socialist society? Do I have a choice, or will my stuff just be taken regardless?

How do you tax a country into prosperity? If you pay everyone out of the tax piggy bank, why would people work hard to fill up that piggy bank? That will eventually cause those who are working hard to stop and just rather get the free tax money from the piggy bank. So how long will it take for that piggy bank to dry up?

Even if it doesn't work, there will always be people wanting to try it again, and apply those ideals "properly"... "this time will work" they say...
There will always be those who fear anyone who has rights. Some of these dictatorships are able to hold back the natural human condition to rebel and fight back because they are able to keep people in a constant state of repression. Any sense of control over one's self or inkling of power and the whole system might be toppled.
haha I laughed hard when seeing the "things adults shouldn't believe in". Communism has had enough tries, I guess...
