RE: Embracing Linear Equality on Steem: Unlearning the Sucker & Maximising the Arsehole in Me

in #funny7 years ago

Though times on steemit morally. Do you buy/sell votes or not? I personally like smartsteem, where you can autovote on content with 3 stars, which sort of makes sure you vote on quality posts, although they might not be what you would normally like. But than again, steemit has become a really big web, so it is very hard to find good content I can relate to and I don't always have the time to search for hours through all the crap.

Also, I would like to create a living on wheels community, but it is so hard to get noticed if you are only minnow. At one point I got quite a lot of votes of hendrikdegroote and a lot of accounts followed, but that didn't seem like a real interaction and it stopped (probably because I am using smartsteem now), but what it the difference between automatically autovoting certain accounts and selling your votes to a service? So, now I am investing a bit of money that I have available in steemit, through making my posts noticeable thanks to smartsteem. In a way I am also giving back 25% of what I am investing. Some of my posts get noticed and get a bit of interaction, but it is damn hard to get anything going. I hope communities will change that, till than I am just swimming around trying to grow my account so one day it will get noticed and it will have an impact. Cheers!
