Predicting The Future

in #future2 years ago

Predicting the future would in theory be possible but likely cant be achieved by humanity, assuming we had all the locations, movement etc of all atoms in the known universe to the exact we could simulate all of existance but not only would that data be pretty much impossible to obtain, it would take a stuipid amount of computing power etc to the point it probally wouldnt happen even if possible, even then it could not possibly be correct because the future changed due to us having that information.
It really just depends on innovation in computing power people use machines nobody thought possible 30 years ago to play video games on them now, nobody can really say how far mere computing power will go eventually, point of the AI would be that it acts at a point at which you no longer understand how it works and its multiplying its efficiency in all ways faster than we can perceive it. There's no reason for that kind of thing to be impossible but it will likely not happen regardless simply because we have been in decline for the last 50 years and our current problems will most likely finish us off as a civilization
