Hi all, especially to the EDGELESS community ) ! Continue to discuss Blackjack standard situation and terminology, that I am sure will help you to find good strategy playing with EDGELESS ZERO house edge.
As far as you know, points for each cards are equal to the face value of that card. Points of Pictured cards are equal “10”. And points for the “Ace” are equal “11” , but at the same time points for “Ace” could be equal “1”. That’s the only exception when card has two value points. That’s why there are two types of PLAYER’s hands:
Hard Hand is any two-card total which doesn’t include “Ace”.
Soft Hand is any hand of two cards which contains “Ace”.
Think you have already find main differences between “HARD HANDS” and “SOFT HANDS”. Hard and Soft hands have their own place in basic blackjack strategy. Understanding the differences as well as how to play them correctly is very important for anyone who is serious about becoming a skilled blackjack player and how want to use effectively EDGELESS ZERO HOUSE EDGE.
When PLAYER are dealt a soft hand, there is a double title of you points separated with the “slush” on EDGELESS table screen.
First dealt Soft hand never couldn’t be burned with another one hitting card unlike the Hard hand. Example, PLAYER have “Ace” and “5 ” which is “6” or “16” points, PLAYER chose to hit another card and dealt “10”. EDGELESS Dealer declared that you have “16 ” points and can make further decision.
If PLAEYR has “10” and “5 ” which is only “15” points, with another hitting “10” valued card would be burned, because of “25” points total. That’s loosing bet for the PLAYER.
If PLAYER are dealt two “Aces”
Because both “Aces” could be valued as “1” and “11”. And of course that hand couldn’t mean that PLAYER have burning value points - “22”.
The next hand:
According to basic Blackjack strategy Soft hands more often allow you to make double when DEALER in a “trouble”. The situations when DEALER has “4” , “5” or “6” face up card being called “dealer trouble situations”. Because there are biggest probability of being bursting for the dealer with this cards. The exactly dealer’s odds of bursting at the below table:
And you will find with “4”, “5”, “6” face up card burst probability for the Dealer much bigger than for example with “7” face up card. And almost every PLAYER’s soft hand against Dealer Trouble Hand could be continued to the DOUBLED decisions.
That’s opposite most of beginners knowledges, that best way to double only on the “10” and “11”.
