Every week of the NFL season I will bring Steemit my predictions of the scores of who will win each game and I am going to keep track of my record of how well I do each week. So Steemit here are my NFL week 1 predictions for September 8th-12th of who will win.
This is a repost from earlier I am reposting it with the correct tags.
Week 1 NFL season
Panthers AT Broncos
Prediction: Panthers win 24 to 21 Broncos
The Panthers want revenge after being humiliated in the Super Bowl by the Broncos defense. The Broncos will still keep it close but not good enough to win with a new quarterback at the helm after Peyton Manning's retirement the Broncos are left with a rookie quarterback Trevor Siemian who I have never even heard of, not saying he is bad but quarterbacks often struggle at first in the NFL. I would be more comfortable picking the Broncos to win this game if Peyton Manning was still the quarterback.
Buccaneers AT Falcons
Prediction: Falcons win 31 to 17 Buccaneers
The Falcons have had a history recently of starting out real strong at the first of the season, last year they started the season 7-0, I predict them to win this easily at home with Julio Jones and Matt Ryan, Julio Jones is a young Terrell Owens he should be at 100% and hit his stride at the first of the year.
Vikings AT Titans
Prediction: Vikings win 21 to 17 Titans
The Titans will look better then last year but will fall short in their season opener against the Minnesota Vikings, Marcus Mariota who struggled last year as a rookie will be improved but with a new head coach they still have a long ways to go before winning big in games, but keeping it close will give fans something to cheer for. The Vikings on the other hand looked much better last year so I expect them to win this.
Browns AT Eagles
Prediction: Eagles win 28 to 17 Browns
The Eagles were one of the most underachieving teams last year, but the tides will start to turn in the Eagles favor with a new head coach it will be getting back to the basics in the new offense and the Browns haven’t had a good season for as long as I can remember. So the win goes to the team with home field advantage.
Bengals AT Jets
Prediction: Bengals win 17 to 14 Jets
The Jets have a great defense but the Bengals will come prepared to play they have a slightly better team overall as far as the eye can see.
Raiders AT Saints
Prediction: Saints win 28 to 24 Raiders
Drew Brees and the Saints have one of the toughest NFL stadiums to play in on the road and will overwhelm the Raiders. The Raiders have shown signs of improvement last year but will fall short in the this matchup on the road.
Chargers AT Chiefs
Prediction: Chiefs win 28 to 17 Chargers
The Chiefs have one of the hardest stadiums to play in on the road in arrowhead stadium, they will be more prepared to play mentally. Alex Smith and Andy Reid will outplay the Chargers who have been on a downhill slope the last couple of years, but Philip Rivers will still rack up some good fantasy points for fantasy owners the last 10 minutes of the game.
Bills AT Ravens
Prediction: Ravens win 24 to 10 Bills
The Baltimore Ravens will be prepared to play for their season opener John Harbaugh is a great head coach and will have his team better prepared for this game.
Bears AT Texans
Prediction: Texans win 17 to 14 Bears
The Texans will be a slightly better team their decision to pay Brock Osweiler $90 Million in the offseason will look like a good one in this season opener. I haven’t been impressed with the Bears in a long time with mediocre play.
Packers AT Jaguars
Prediction: Packers win 38 to 14 Jaguars
When was the last time you saw Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers lose to the Jaguars in a season opener? That would be as rare as landing on Mars! The Jaguars are badly overmatched in this game even the waterboy will be scared to come out in this game for the Jaguars…...
Dolphins AT Seahawks
Prediction: Seahawks win 31 to 17 Dolphins
The Seahawks will return to their Super Bowl form in this game at home. The Dolphins have about as good of a chance of beating the Seahawks at home as I do getting rich on the lottery. I would be stunned if this is not a blowout for the Seahawks who rarely if ever lose at home.
Giants AT Cowboys
Prediction: Giants win 21 to 17 Cowboys
The Cowboys once again are missing in action without Tony Romo starting as qb, this is like Romeo going to a dance without Juliet.
Lions AT Colts
Prediction: Colts win 28 to 21 Lions
Andrew Luck and the Colts should easily win this at home I can’t think of any reason why they will lose so that is why I pick the Colts.
Patriots AT Cardinals
Prediction:Patriots win 27 to 24 Cardinals
Cardinals have been on the rise the last two years, but the Patriots always come prepared to play for the opening weekend. This is the hardest game of the week to predict since the Cardinals have a great defense I could see it go either way, but I have a feeling the Patriots will somehow find a way to win like they always do.
Monday night football prediction
Steelers AT Redskins
Prediction: Steelers win 24 to 21 Redskins
The Redskins won the NFC east last year, but they don’t remember the last time they played the Steelers. The Steel curtain will come to play hard on Monday night football.
Rams AT 49ers
Prediction: Rams win 24 to 21 49ers
I am going against my team in this one, I hope the 49ers win but deep down inside something tells me the Rams will come away with a win in this one they have been on the rise the last four years and the 49ers have other things on their minds right now especially drama with Colin Kaepernick and new coach Chip Kelly.

I think the 1st week is the hardest to predict because we do not have a lot of playing time to go on and as a sports better, I try to stay as conservative as I can on the first week. Great picks for the week and my predictions align close with yours.
Yes it is a tough week for sure. There will be a lot surprises from the draft and from last year that weren't good last year now they'll be good this year. I think the safest bets are Green Bay against the Jaguars who haven't had a winning season in 10 years and the Seahawks at home!
Do not touch Vikings mate, you won't believe what a good season they are looking at.
