Steemslotgames
https://steemslotgames.com/?referral_name=fairbet
@steemslotgames certainly puts a lot of effort into their graphics and marketing on steem. They have a referral incentive, regular bonuses, and giveaways-mostly based on pure luck. They also reward top players and have 2 video slot games. The payout % is similar to other slots, i.e. not that great RTP (Return To Player) in SteemStone is 96.03! This means that you will have to win more than 96 times out of 100 placed bets. Please note, however, that this is a long-term calculation, so the results on a smaller sample may be slightly different source
- Every steem you bet will only win 0.9603 back, so you lose 4% per spin
- There is no investment/token scheme
- No known issues with the house
Steem-Bet
No referral link here because we don't recommend you play @steem-bet at this time since they are not paying dividends as promised.
Their dice game works fine, but most people have stopped playing it so this is unconfirmed. The odds are 2% in favour of the house so every Steem you bet you will win back 0.98. You get 50 SBT tokens for each Steem bet, the tokens are not paying dividends and they are not trading so their value is close to if not zero.
- Avoid Steem-Bet
- Every Steem bet, you will win back 0.98 + 50 tokens that don't trade or pay dividends
Epicdice
https://epicdice.io/?ref=fairbet
@epicdice works great and they recently did a post on fairness here. The odds are 2% in favour of the house so every Steem you bet, you will win back 0.98. They are currently offering 100 EPC tokens for every Steem bet, this will decrease over time. EPC tokens trade at about 0.0001 Steem/token so 100 tokens are worth 0.01 Steem, if you immediately sell your tokens instead of holding them for dividends, this makes the payout significantly better, or 0.99 per Steem bet. (0.98 in Steem and 0.01 Steem worth of EPC tokens)
- Every Steem bet, you will win back 0.98 Steem + 0.01 Steem in EPC tokens
- Referral incentives, leaderboards and the ability to bet EPC tokens for Steem is possible.
Steem Roller
https://www.steem-roller.com/#
@klye is the one-man show behind this dice game. It has an expected return 0.99 Steem per Steem bet and you can bet on extremes, like rolling above 99.9998. There are no tokens, bonuses, incentives or anything at this time, you can, however, invest in the house and share 90% of the profits with other investors. 50x leveraged investing is allowed, so it doesn't take much Steem to participate in a large % of the profits/losses.
- Every Steem bet, you will win back 0.99 Steem
- You can invest in the house, leverage up and divest in seconds
- No tokens, leaderboards or referral incentives
Cupz
https://cupz.io?referrer=fairbet
@cupz has 5 different games! Their dice game should payout 0.98 per Steem bet in the long-run. Their other games have a 2% house take as well except for Roulette which should have similar odds to a European Roulette table you can read about here keep in mind they don't allow every typical Roulette betting option. Cupz pays 500 tokens (Cupz) per Steem wagered. Cupz is not paying dividends at this time due to low volume but promises to in the future and the tokens are currently selling for 0.00001 each. 500 Cupz is worth 0.005 Steem so your expected return is 0.985 per Steem bet (0.98 Steem + 500 Cupz worth 0.005 Steem at this time) They have daily leaderboards and referral incentives.
- Every Steem bet, you will win back 0.98 Steem + 0.005 Steem in CUPZ
- PvP games and Roulette
Kryptogames
https://kryptogamers.com/?ref=fairbet
@kryptogames has the best odds out of all the gambling sites based on Steem. They offer dice with a 0.99 expected payout + 25 gamer tokens per Steem bet at this time. Gamer tokens are selling 0.00002 Steem each right now so that's 0.0005 Steem, meaning their payout is 0.9905 per Steem bet (0.99 Steem _ 0.0005 Steem in Gamer tokens.) Kryptogamers also offers Blackjack and Video Poker. The Blackjack has an expected return of about 0.994 per Steem bet source if you know what you're doing which is similar to their video poker which has the highest expected return of them all at 0.995 source. Kryptogames also has generous leaderboards and referral incentives.
- Best odds from 0.9905 to 0.995 per Steem wagered
- Learn how to play Blackjack and Video poker for best results

Luck plays the biggest part when gambling but the expected returns and payout makes a huge difference if you are a big gambler. The author of this post holds tokens and a stake in every mentioned betting platform (except Steemslotgames) and favours the odds above the sites/tokens. Gambling and tokens do not guarantee any sort of profit and the math shows you will always lose in the long run so please don't gamble more than you can afford to lose.

I think it is worth mentioning steemrollerz and steemslotgames are offchain sites meaning you deposit steem there to play.
You need to trust them a little mpre, but it also means you dont waste RC don't need SP and have more privacy.
Also steemrollerz has a new random prize feature.
Damn I feel like rolling 5he die now and ending my hiatus

Good points about off chain gambling. The plan here is to recycle this post and make it more attractive. Gamblers need to be aware that these tokens are not worth mining due to an expected loss, you can buy them for cheaper. Gamble for fun, not for profit.
Random prizes don't really increase one's expected return by a significant amount. Placing first on the @krytogames leaderboard does but you would have to spend an entire day gambling or make high stake bets to do so and we can't accurately predict how much one would have to play to win such a prize. These incentives are meant for you to play more and lose more.
@abitcoinskeptic finally, somebody's got the point! 😜
Deposit allows you to make only two transactions - deposit and withdrawal, so it saves a lot of account resources. It allows you also to play smoothly without signing each transaction, which in the long run is quite inconvenient for players. Especially in the game like slots. 😉
Our site allows us to implement the signing of transactions by SteemConnect or KeyChain, but in our opinion, it would disturb the game flow, and this aspect is very important to us.
We agree that this is a matter of trust, so we appreciate our players a lot. We make sure that withdrawals from our account are processed within a few seconds. We also give you the option to check every result in the games history in the player's account, along with a solid set of data inside. 😉
Last week our players paid out a total of 24 256 STEEM so no worries, you can trust us. 😎
@fairbet thank you for mentioning and appreciating our site! 😉
We want to thank you for your kind words, so we sent 5 STEEM to your account in the game. We hope you will have a good time and you will change it into a Mega Win! 😎
We also noticed that you appreciated our graphics, so we invite you to play SteemStone! 🤠⛏💎
It took our artist almost 300 hours to draw this game, because most of the elements were hand-painted. Good luck & have fun!
💎 Discover the SteemStone!💎
Great, thanks! Ran them through your slots game, found the Steemstone 4 times and won back about 60%. Only hit a decent jackpot once of 15 times the bet on the second spin. I get the appeal, someone could be extremely lucky and win a small fortune on their first roll. If you are getting bad luck, there feels like a lack of control: such is life when dealing with a one-armed bandit.
Thanks for the write up! Its good to see a list of all sites and the best odds possible on said sites.
Glad you find this useful, feel free to join our discord or follow as the list of sites and what they are doing will be updated regularly.

Sure thing! Thought I was already following but looks like I might not have been. That’s fixed now 😊

Thanks for the honourable mentions about Steem-Roller.com
You're welcome, the fact that anyone can invest however much they want whenever they want is very attractive. What stops the owner from taking all the invested cash since it's off-chain?
Basically it's a matter of trusting I won't pull a magicdice.. Which I certainly will not. No amount of money is worth destroying my rep on STEEM and in crypto.
We are running an offer of 0.5% Commission on our dice game for 24 Hrs and will be following up with another offer
Cool, thanks for letting us know!
Great post guys, missed out a lot lately but I would suggest adding volume to the next report. For example, CUPZ volume is low (wish it could be better) while KryptoGamers ballooned after MagicDice exited and SteemBet went dead.
It's difficult to look at volume, it's impossible to tell if some accounts are getting paid to play and every operator would deny. One thing is for sure, Cupz is definitely not paying people to play or running a bot network. The idea is to make this post more standardized and make people aware that not all games and operators are as generous to gamblers.
The better odds games will last longer (safer divs?) as players who are more aware will be attracted to them. If you are a big player once you try a game with better odds, it's hard to want to play something that is worse.
Ok, we can always refer to StateOfTheDapps, DappRadar or the third party dApp monitoring sites, they monitor the contract and transaction data almost in real-time. It may not be perfect, but volume (fake or not) definitely needs to be accounted for with a margin of error.
ie. With its current volume how long before CUPZ divs begin?
*Just an example, not looking to debate or knock CUPZ. Anyone can view the data from the sites that monitor the contracts directly or in some cases the explorers, I just think it would be a nice metric to add to your reports. But, guess not 🤷🏽♂️

Steem slots seems rigged as I have never won more than 1 steem and have put a heap in.
But my favs are cupz and kryptogames, also epicdice and steem roller are good.

With slots the odds are never as good as the other games, this goes for every casino. The idea is most people lose and every once and a while someone wins it big.
Actually, slots in real life tend to pay out more small amounts than steem slots. I have played many in my time and considering they are based on how much it is played, it feels like it is just reset each time you play and you have to put in a heap of steem for any chance of something returned.

@thegoliath we do not interfere in the result of the game and we do not have the possibility to influence the result of the spin. Moreover, our algorithm always generates a random result, which means that neither the number of bets, the value of bets, or the amount of time spent on the site has any influence on the result of the spin.
We are currently working on a tab that will present the total RTP in more than 500,000 spins, you will see for yourself that it has the value we declare in our games.
We respect our players and we are always fair to them, so please don't suggest that our soft is rigged. It's just your feeling, which may be caused by too few games played. Meanwhile, many of our regular players pay out STEEMs on their wallets. 😎
We hope that in the next games you will hit Mega Win, which will convince you that our site is fair.
Good luck & keep spinning! 😉
I have put 50 - 80 steem in and barely gotten anything at all. Personally not my thing as it doesn't feel right so good luck to you on it. Oh and I have only felt bad about 1 other site, steem-bet, so it's rare I feel like this.
We understand that you are not happy with the result, but it is nothing more than a lack of luck. We hope you will give us one more chance and win the whole bag of STEEM! 😉

I'm a real gambler! I especially like to play card games such as blackjack. And I agree with the author that gambling is primarily for pleasure, not for making money. The main thing is to be able to stop in time and bet as much money as you are ready to lose. It is also important to choose a reliable provider and a safe method of deposit and withdrawal. Details in the source. Thanks for the useful article on casinos! And may fortune smile on everyone!
