Just pushed a new update to the Hive-Roller.com server a few moments ago. Most of the changes are on the back end but pleased to announce the referral links and payouts are re-enabled and seem to be working properly. A number of changes made it into this patch, check out the patch notes below:
v0.7.9.5 Patch Notes
- IPV6 is now enabled to users whose connections support it
- Corrected rounding error in referral and bankroll calculations
- Amalgamated referral pay server data into bet update JSON
- Removed withdrawal fee transfers to chain, now credited internally
- Fixed referral link parsing code, added error tolerance
- Changed minimum bet amount to 0.0001 HIVE to avoid decimal rounding
- Increased faucet minimum payout to 0.001 HIVE
- Set "min bet" button amount to 0.0001 HIVE
- Revamped the user online counter to more accurately reflect user count
- Fixed moderator / admin kick function, it now disconnects the kicked user
- Laid groundwork for Hive-Engine token deposits
- Deleted all bet delay timers, all bets are now as fast as your connection will allow
Still waiting on the new GUI from my front end guy. Next task development wise besides the new front end when it's ready is to re-write the sites database handling in order to get rid of the pesky account nuke bug. Faucet is currently set to 30 seconds between claims because I forgot to set it to 5 minutes so come take advantage of that before I patch in proper claim delay duration.
The database handling re-write is a bit daunting at this point, but is something that needs to be done in order to make sure no more data corruption or loss happens. The current system works but has bugs. It's advised that if you're keeping a balance in your account keep it invested at 1x so in the off chance your account data gets nuked you'll still retain your proper HIVE balance upon account revival.
Going to be keeping a close eye on this update to avoid another repeat of the v0.7.8 patch issues. Been testing the bankroll / referral / commission calculation algorithm all day and it seems to be operating as intended... Regardless though will be keeping my eye on the site to make sure no values are out of whack.
It's been a long day of coding and testing, Although I won't be laying down to rest until I'm certain no rounding bugs in the bankroll code have come in with this patch. Quite certain I've got that issue nipped in the bud but after that shitshow at the beginning of the week I'm a bit paranoid. Rightfully so I guess.
