We all look forward to the arrival of season 8 of Game of Thrones, and it's no wonder because the king of the night with his army of white walkers have crossed the wall and are hungry for destruction.

After seven seasons of intrigues and battles, of deaths and alliances, the great war VS the White Walkers is coming. And also the end of the series created by David Benioff and Dan Weiss for HBO, based on the literary saga of George R.R. Martin.

It will be released in April 2019 what it means that we have to wait for one year, it's sad but worth it. (I really can't wait more Hehe)

How many episodes will it have ?

Game of Thrones will continue to shorten the number of episodes, the next will have six episodes. Remember that the first six seasons consisted of ten episodes but the seventh was reduced to only seven, including both the shortest chapter of the series and the longest. Six sounds very little for the last season but it's believed that it will be compensating with the duration of every one of them: six episodes that would last as long as six films. I would just like to see them in cinema.

Who is the King of the Night ?

The epic finale of the seventh season showed us the King of the Night imitating Daenerys with his new ice dragon, destroying until then indestructible North wall and releasing his army of zombies, finally, after seven seasons. The great war between the living and the dead is coming, but there is a question that remains in the air and will be answered in the eighth season: who is hiding under the identity of the King of the Night?

Many fan theories say that Bran, especially after some facial touches on the villain that resemble young Stark enough. However, the actor who gives life to Bran, now the Raven of Three Eyes, has denied this possibility. What seems clear is that the king of the night is a Stark, there is even a nod to the symbol of the house in the formation of the White Walkers, but we will have to wait to know the name and why he has so hatred.
