PUBG (a.k.a Battlegrounds) is a massively multiplayer online battle royale game. The game is still in early access and its beta program was launched in March of 2017. While this sort of gameplay is not the first of it's kind, it has surged in popularity boasting an average of 2 million players online at any given time of the day. 100 players compete against each other to be the 'last' person standing. A random circle spawns every few minutes which players are forced to go towards. This is done to help speed up the game by forcing everyone in to a given area. While heading towards the designated area, players can opt to gear up to prepare themselves for duels and such. Loot and vehicle spawns are for the most part random but there are certain 'hotspots' which you are more likely them.
While this sort of gameplay might not appeal to everyone, it has a high tactical aspect to it that might appeal to most. The game is largely based off the decisions you make and luck. With that said, I shall be uploading a post on some tips and tricks I've gathered during my time playing PUBG.
