RE: Game Credits (GAME): A Forward Discernment

in #game7 years ago

That's a common misconception and to be honest, I used to have the same opinion of homeschooling. What opened my eyes first was working in the public school system myself and witnessing first hand the mismanagement of funds coupled with the fact that schools have less time for arts, which means extracurricular activities are taking up more after school hours along with mounds of homework. There is a growing trend of very social and forward thinking homeschoolers. By age 8 my daughter had played softball, soccer, violin, ukelele, dance, theatre and managed her own cash till at a market. She's learned sewing, photography, about raising livestock and a garden. She can read and write well beyond her grade level and can prepare a meal and start a fire. She's also computer savvy and has many friends. No bubble here, but we're always happy to teach. Peace.
