Everquest is one of those games I've always enjoyed hearing about and watching a bit of, but just never did catch my interest. I've tried it a few times but always bounce off super fast. Yet, oddly, I can watch a buddy stream it for like 3-4h straight and not be at all bored.
It is quite insane this game has lasted long enough to have 28 expansions. Most modern day MMORPGs I just don't see them last a fraction of the time. They just don't make them like they use to.
That's definitely true. The closest contender has got to be WoW, and that even has been struggling lately I feel.
