Shows how hard it is, nice progress, i am wondering too what is causing this rendering lag time issue, let's hope we can sort it out without having to make smaller resolution sprites for mac hmm... Can't wait to see some of the character movements in action reacting to controls ! gonna work on that 3 layer background Keep up the good work !
It's so cool to see you guys interacting and teaming up on an indie game i must say the sprites and character design look really freaking good ! Lots and lots of imagination there and i can feel those playstation - nintendo - megadrive 1990 - 2000 era influencing a lot of your work. Also, kudos to Hitmanchoi that is doing a lot of the work in the shadows too, multiplatforming for steemit integration looks really hard with what you have to work with ( i read that steem python is clunky as hell to do these kind of things, so yeah, mad skills and patience you might have )

i'm not sure what you mean by rendering lag because i see no lag at this point. for this video it's most likely bad recording or lag on my virtual machine. animation is smooth on my pc and mac. we don't have to downgrade for now.
anyways art looks great so i see a lot of potential for this project 👍
