Scouts of the Northern Kingdom stumble behind the Wall on some «White Walkers», one of them survived and brings news to Winterfell, but he is executed as a deserter. Ned Stark, Lord Winterfell, meets King Robert, who came to ask him to become his co-ruler and first adviser. And at the same time, the last of the Targariens live somewhere on the outskirts, and Viserys Targarien gives his sister Daenerys for the leader of the barbarians of Drogo, to get an army to conquer the entire kingdom of Westeros. Daenerys does not want to, but she's given up by force. One of the wedding gifts is the petrified dragon's eggs. Queen Cersei of the Lannister family hates everyone around her, but she fucks her twin brother Jaime.
The first impression is an excellent realistic medieval fantasy. While there are many riddles and incomprehensible pieces that should be solved in the next series. But you can already see the intricacies of the characters. King Robert Baratheon is a strong, straightforward, seeming fair and worthy ruler. The Lannister house immediately showed itself on the worst side — all the representatives shown in the series seem miserable bastards, with petty scoundrels ready for the sake of their immediate desires to destroy the whole world. Particularly striking is Queen Cersei — it's even unpleasant to look at. The Targarienes' house is represented by the last brother and sister, and the brother seems subtle and cynical, and the sister is weak and vulnerable. The Stark house looks very nice, although not without its cockroaches. But, at least, they all did not appear in the series, except for jokes. In the bastard Ned Stark, there is a hidden tension spring. It's a pity for ten-year-old Bran, who died at the hands of Jaime Lannister in the first series.
Great!! I love game of thrones! :)
I start to like it too.
