Season 1. Series 2. The Kingsroad

Bran Stark did not die from falling from the tower, but fell into a coma (or something like this). His mother sits beside him for days and nights praying to Seven. Ned Stark accepts the invitation of King Robert and travels with him to the capital of the kingdom. Together with him two of his daughters go, the eldest of whom is planned to marry the son of the king. With them, two direwolves are traveling, who were found in the last series near a dead she-direwolf and taken to be brought up. The killer was sent to kill Bran lying in a coma, but he is bitten by another direwolf, and his mother begins to investigate the incident and for some reason understands that Cersei Lannister wanted to kill Bran. Bastard John Snow decides to join the ancient brotherhood «Night Watch» to protect Westeros from monsters from the North. With him goes Tyrion Lannister, another queen's brother, an ugly dwarf who needs to be clever, smarter than everyone, to have at least some weight. Deyeneris Targarien takes love lessons from her slave to experience a passion for intimacy with Drogo and «enslave» him, and that's sort of like it turns out. Meanwhile, the youngest daughter of Ned Stark Arya, a brisk girl who would have been better off to be a boy, is studying martial arts, but in doing so she is substituting the son of a butcher who is killed for seeing the humiliation of Prince Joffrey. Queen Cersei orders to kill Arya's direwolf, but she escapes, and instead they kill the pet of Sansa, the eldest daughter of Ned Stark. At the time of the murder of the direwolf Bran Stark comes out of the coma and opens his eyes.

Tyrion Lannister, the dwarf, already seems not such a bastard as his brother and sister. He is intelligent, well-read, both cynical and diplomatic. He immediately began to «process» John Snow, giving him numerous tips on how to live and how to behave. It seems that he feels this hidden power in the bastard, and begins to bring him closer to himself. Sansa Stark and Joffrey Lannister are already behaving like future spouses, but Prince Joffrey is just as disgusted as his mother, it's even unpleasant to look at him. Arya Stark — a dark horse, it seems simple and straightforward, but it feels that the thin stiletto, received from John Snow on farewell, will be applied to the destination more than once. Drogo — a barbarian and a naughty dork suddenly falls in love with his wife, Deyeneris. And she secretly nurtures the hope of raising dragons from petrified eggs. While the role of the fallen feudal lord, who presented these eggs as a present, is not clear, it is felt that he will play some important role. Viserys Targarien still looks thin, but already to arrogance. And only Ned Stark and King Robert Baratheon, two old friends and a warriors, look simple and generous.
