Having been someone who has developed graphics based material on a full time basis, I know how long it takes to make something from scratch to production. It is important to realize that the large team psyber-x has assembled has been working full time and that there was a fundamental call made mid development. That call was to upgrade from AA to AAA game status. That means more time, but it also means better quality. I consider myself in the "brain group" and can tell you all the things we're doing now are because you must have all your ducks in a row before releasing to millions.
I can understand your frustration and doubts. One of the biggest reasons I got so intimately involved was because I knew there was potential that is massive and I felt if I wanted my investment to succeed, I would need to get a many people to know about it as possible. I write the posts, many of them, for psyber-x. I would ask everyone to consider when we've offered dates with deliverables in the past. We've kept each one to the largest degree. The marketplace was supposed to be live in February. It wasn't, so airdropped psybercrates were doubled per 200k held until the marketplace does go live. I've seen many of the nfts and have not shared them, yet if you watch the marketplace sneak peek, you'll see several.
The game is coming. The marketplace is, too. I'm a couple thousand dollars into psyberx now. I got the land baron title from buying a comm plot with 500k lvl that I bought for a couple hundred dollars worth of Hive I used to buy lvl when it was 0.00045 per lvl. I personally don't think you have to be rich to buy 14 starter kits. Buying Hive a couple weeks ago when Hive was $0.82 and waiting to now when it's 1.21 per hive to convert to hbd would have meant you could have purchased 14 starter kits with 1400 hbd for only $948. The 15th would be the bonus one. I've earned that much in one year on Hive...I digress. I don't think you have to be rich to get the land baron or even the third tier nft. You can buy one for less than 1000 Hive, which is cheaper than becoming a land baron. However, going land baron by buying starter kits gets you 32 nfts as well along with 15 land parcels...
I hear ya, I just see things differently...
May 13, we'll see the marketplace and not much longer afterward get to walk on the game map. That's also wise business practice. Same reason why Tesla started with a $120k car and not the $30k car... you fund improvements and marketing campaigns, etc with the first adopters, who also have to wait to see their investments get a return...
yeah.... when you put it that way i bot 50k at .000001 way back before the movement. I don't have a lot to invest and a lot of people don't. 300$ is just a lot of gameplay iv saved up. so idk. kind of a lot of winning and grinding and treasure hunting. I would need to go and find a looooot of loot for that baron spot. its not so much about being rich I agree. i just worry for the others who are like me leveraging the Splinter lands land or cards... or other major treasures from other games. no way i can grind that with my skill lol im ok at gaming but.... not that good. lest not before they sell out.
