Ever wanted to be a hobo? Ever wondered what it would be like? Well, now you can simulate it in the comfort of your own living room. Yes, folks. You now have the ability while sitting in a comfy desk chair and lounging in cool air-conditioning to experience all the trials and tribulations of what it feels like to be homeless and on the streets. Do I sound a little sarcastic? Maybe a little, but this game does give a certain scenario rarely experienced in the video game medium and with the emergence of all types of simulators this one does have a bit of polish to deserve notice even if it is in Early Access.
This is a fleshed out Survival RPG. You have to interact with people, build relationships and complete goals to survive the upcoming winter. Complete with building a hideout to sustain yourself, dumpster diving, a crafting system and the ability to move about via transit. Hunger will play a pivotal facet of this game's experience but there are also an array of quests and storyline arc to follow. You even have the ability to play up to 4 players online together inside the same world.
The early reviews are coming in with a mixed bag at the moment. But, the positive reviews illustrate that this game has potential. Since it is in Early Access and sitting at a price-tag of almost twenty bucks, I would be hard pressed to say jump on the band wagon. But, I'll be keeping a tight eye on the development team and see if they patch in fixes on the regular. If you are interested you can go ahead and tag it on your wishlist and I recommend not picking this up until we see what is up the sleeves of these developers but the title does look promising.
Here is their Early Access trailer, check it out for yourself. Love the music choices.
