Compendiums, worth it?

I was playing this game in which I was hard supporting this carry player. We had a really good connection and we eventually won the game as we played really well. He was really happy about my supporting, so to my surprise, he actually bought me a compendium. I was quite happy as I’ve been wanting it for awhile but didn’t want to spend money on the game itself.

Off to the compendium, is it really worth the money if someone paid for it? Short answer, yes. Long answer, no. First of all, the compendium actually does give you heaps of items and perks. Things such as extra minigames (underhollow), cavern (for items) and micellaneous stuff such as chat wheel voices and spray paints. Although these things almost always come free, alot of the rewards are at the higher levels of the battle pass, in which I have realized is almost impossible to get to unless you buy levels.

The battle pass takes about 4 games to level up once (consistently disregarding your current level), and the “good” rewards normally start around level 60+. With the best rewards clocking in around the 300 level mark, there’s no way a player could reach that level without throwing in more money to the book. Unless you’re prepared to spend more money after the compendium, the rewards aren’t really worth it in my opinion.
