Ice climber was the first console game I played. Even though I did not enjoy more play time because I had to always compete with friends for play since just one of us had the NES console, the game was intresting enough to strike a passion (the right word might be Addiction) for game in me. Over the course of time I played games such as Contra on the Ending man console, FIFA (Locally known as "sekere" because of the sound from the game when players kick the ball around) also on Ending man console, Paper boy on a more advance Nintendo console, ultimate mortal Kombat 3 on Sega( with all the Babalities, Fatalites and Friendship), e.t.c.
All this games are very brilliant and intresting to with nice and smart AI, like how Shao Khan seems to always know the right time to always use his hammer. While I was still been marveled by this games, then Sony PlayStation 1 and Nitendo 64 came in to the mix and this was when everything changed. I was no longer thrilled by just the game play, but by graphics, quality sounds and more games(like Metal Gear solid) with suprior EnemyAI.

At this point, I was no longer just a gamer, I became someone that watched other people play games, while I'm deep in thought about about game mechanics, game logic(it was not till recent years I got to understand the two terms) and the awesome graphic presented in the game. Then it seemed to me that game graphics and games were as real as they could get, I couldn't be more wrong.
The release of Playstion 2 and Xbox console, was the game changer that moved me from just someone that sits and marveled at how games were to someone that start making researches into how games were made. Then I came across tools such as 3ds Max, Maya, Unreal development kit, 3d Game maker, shiva authoring tool, Unity and Blender among other tools.
The game industry is a fun and intresting ecosytem that keeps evolving, and its open to any hardworking person that's ready to put in the necessary effort.
Thanks for reading through, I will feedback on how I could have improved this post or pointers to anything I could have done wrong in the post. (Newbie blogger --Alert!--)
