Spyro is the one franchise that a lot of fans were calling for when the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was announced. Well, for all those fans that wanted it, come September this year, you will get your wish. If you own a PlayStation 4 or Microsoft Xbox One console (Nintendo Switch fans, sorry). Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming, and it includes the first three games (the good ones) from the original PlayStation era.
Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon will get the HD remake update treatment. So far, the video and pics are jaw dropping gorgeous. What else would you expect though? At this stage in the game, anything less would simply be crapped on by any gaming “journalist” that wanted to be edgy. Still probably will be, just for clicks.
"We're deeply passionate about staying true to the legacy of the original three Spyro games with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy,” said Paul Yan, Chief Creative Officer, at Toys For Bob. “We've poured a lot of love into making the personalities and worlds feel just like fans remember them, while also keeping the game collection surprisingly fresh with lush, high definition detail. We're bringing back the Spyro we all fell in love with 20 years ago."

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is being handled by Toys for Bob for Activision Publishing, a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard. Not just graphics and audio are getting the remake treatment – environments will be improved a bit, controls tweaked, and brand new recreated cinematics round out the updates on this classic adventure reimagined.
Finally, the last cool thing that we know about right now – the voice actor for Spyro 2 and 3, Tom Kenny, is returning to reprise his role in the remake. That is cool and will certainly pull on the nostalgia strings for fans.

I always loved spyro games yet never finished one. I'm excited for this rerelease! Thanks for the good share and good read.
I remember doing my best to 100% complete Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon - sadly, I never got to play the original. May have to fix that when this collection hits. I wish this was coming to the Vita though - would love to play on the go.
