The cult Another World is back ... once again. The French company DotEmu announces today that it will take charge of bringing the game on Nintendo Switch, for a release late April on the console.
We will not list all the platforms on which Another World has appeared since its first release in 1991 as it never ends. Worn then remastered on several occasions, including a 20th Anniversary Edition, this version of the game will be released on Switch in late April, thanks to the work of DotEmu. It will be possible to alternate between vintage graphics and those updated in HD just by sliding two fingers on the touch screen of the console, and choose between three difficulty modes. The game will also be translated into five languages, including French.
A little reminder about the script: Another World follows the adventures of Lester Knight Chaykin, a talented young physicist who conducts various experiments on a particle accelerator. When a lightning strike hits his laboratory, the nuclear fusion created opens a space-time rift projecting it on an extraterrestrial planet, where he has to fight against a slew of alien soldiers and wild creatures while solving different riddles to survive.
