The studio that has been gathering attention due to its latest game Fortnite has decided to shut down the servers of their other project, Paragon.
The game team revealed on a blog post that one of the main reasons why they will proceed with this decision is because they can't find a way to grow Paragon as a MOBA and retain the player base so it becomes sustainable for the company.
Here's a quote from the official blog post that you can read here.
We didn’t execute well enough to deliver on the promise of Paragon. We have failed you -- despite the team’s incredibly hard work -- and we’re sorry.
However, not all is lost. If you purchased any items through Paragon you will be able to ask for a full refund to Epic Games, who will be encharge of refunding the players, no matter the platform which you use to play the game.
To end the blog post, the official Paragon development team mentioned the exact date when they will be shutting down the game servers (26th of April, 2018).
