I wish Nintendo and Apple become friendly rivals (not sure if they can be called that as they don't attract the same audience) who work together sometimes (Mario Run is great) rather than become the same company.
Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda could become mobile-exclusive for IOS and TV OS-
This part makes me shudder!! I don't want that at all!! (I know some people would like it to happen), while I like Exclusives I would never want them be exclusive for one type of mobile.
But still
Nintendo would lose the eternal stress of trying to attract third party developers to support the consoles to sell and the economy to merge.
That's one great thing that would make them support them if they decided to merge!!
I was trying to argue from the angle off what's best for the companies and not us gamers, but i see your point. I don't really know if it would be better if they merge, was just trying to make the case for what the reasons for doing so might be :)
