What is 7 Days to Die?

7 Days to Die is a sand box, survival horror set in an atomic wasteland, where zombies have risen due to the fallout from a nuclear war. It is set to be in the western United States, sometime after the apocalypse has taken over what used to be a place called "Navezgane" for reference it is over 100 miles from Las Vegas, as well as Las Angelos.

Before we start

This is a continuation of a series my friend @ggteixeira started about a week ago, due to the update going to 16 alpha our map reset and we had to restart everything. With this, to follow our story, it is going to be believed that we moved to another location free of radiation suitable for life. This puts us in the second week of the series, with that being said...

Let's get to the story!

==================================

After the night my friends and I believed it would be smart to pack up and move to a new location, far from here suitable for life. People we have met have talked about a city not too far from here in which might supply us with more gear, as well as a new, more defendable building in which we can thrive at. Once morning came we packed up and headed out on our journey to find these lands in which might bring us everything we will need to survive the apocalypse.

After a full day of travel we arrived at the outskirts of the city, we took refuge in a half destroyed building in which provided protection, at least for the night. In the morning was to loot the surrounding area and take whatever we can find useful for our trek into the heart of this new found gem.

Knowledge about the seventh day of this week lead us to another idea, we could go to the top of that tower we could is in the center of the city and hide at the top. We figured we should start preparing for that from this point on. With the being figured out through the night, as one of our members stayed back to repair some of the damages done to the building, as well as fix it up for the few days we will remain here, the rest of us scattered out to find food, weapons, and ammo.

I decided to set out to find us some useful equipment for that night, my first thoughts were to go to the hardware store right next to us in the hopes to find anything that could help us survive the night. After finding a few useful things in the building I went and dropped everything I had found off where we are currently staying now, at this time The Slayer, had come back from his looting run. We decided even though it was becoming night we should trying to loot more.

A water tower far out of town, where we stayed the night.

While we were out we came across a fellow survivor, he went by the name Hanar, he said he had been living out in these parts for quite a while. With the everlasting threat of zombies, we decided to climb a water tower to wait out the night and continue to talk about this area and figure out what we can do for the following day/night to prepare for the seventh day. He said he could take us through the town where minimal resistance should be, as long as we allowed him to join our group. The Slayer and I agreed to let him join us.

That morning we headed out for the tower, taking a day to do so, we camped out at the bottom of the tower in a small building that would provide the safety we needed until dawn. Once morning came, we had twelve hours to make it to the top of the tower and fortify our position. Without any time to waste we started clearing floor after flooring ridding the place of any sign of zombie. Eventually making it to the last floor of this building and after, the roof, where we set up on the highest point.

At the start of the night we heard what appeared to be thunder rolling through, we could see lightning around us, striking everywhere after enough time. However, the risk of getting struck is outweighed by what lies below, we could hear the horde mustering below us. All we could do is pray our defenses would hold and the day would come before they got to us. With luck on our side, every defense held and only a few zombies made it past. We cleaned up what zombies were left and came to the conclusion we might not be so fortunate the next time.

That was all that was written on this page...
