How I Forgot I was a Gamer.

Gamers Don't Die We Respawn.

Very recently I was forced to do some soul searching, which I am still in the process of doing, to create my Introduce Yourself Post, which I still have not done, and I rediscovered like Columbus did the new world, something about myself.

I FORGOT I WAS A GAMER!!!!!!!!!

Life carried me on a strange but exciting journey full of ups and downs, Travels, Jobs, Opportunities, good times and bad but I always kept my Xbox 360 with me until hard times forced me to let it go.

Seeing as that probably was a hard choice as gaming was always my way to relax after a long day of work or even after falling out with a significant other, I always knew I could relax clear my mind and have some good fun when I turn the console on.

Why I never got back in the game ?

I guess I thought that giving up gaming would allow me more focus to develop other areas of my life like business so I can do bigger and better things.

Was it a good idea ?

Yes and no because as with everything balance is key. And removing gaming from the equation eventually showed me that it provided an essential remedy for dealing with stress or simply having fun and switching off from the world.

How did I stay away when I play like this?

Now this may not be for everyone as playing some games can frustrate you or even a touch opponent ( like myself I hope ) can cause frustration, but that's the reason real gamer's play to get better or level up.

So what really caused this Christopher Columbus moment ?

I recently acquired a new windows laptop and upon logging in I noticed the Xbox app and decided let see what up on my account.

Boy was I in for a treat as just about a year ago, I visited my sister in Canada and noticed they had an Xbox One sitting there, looking at me, just saying use me dammit. So I did and captured some game play clips that sparked my desire to game once more.

Then the thought hit me. I FORGOT I WAS A GAMER.

Here are a few of the clips that reminded me that I AM A GAMER, I hope they bring you just as much joy as I got seeing them again.

Oh boy do I miss Neymar on Barcelona.

Almost looks like a real Barcelona play :p

Then there was this

Defense from the jump lol.

Yeah if you don't like Barcelona tough luck and if you do GOALLLLLLLL LOL.
The replay on that one shows something special I think, that last pass was almost to perfection. FORZA BARCA.

QUESTIONS FROM ME TO YOU.
Would you like to see more ?
Should I stay retired or time to respawn?
What do you think of the clips?

Let me know in the comments below.

@Mountainwashere's Guide for New Users:

Welcome to Steemit! It's got a steep learning curve, but it's worth it in the long run if you keep putting in the time! Just know that it will take quite a while before you start getting attention and followers. The biggest secret to success? Keep posting high quality content regularly, and make sure to search out other people's posts, read them, and give relevant comments.

Tagging is extremely important. Always make sure to use all five possible tags, and to keep them relevant. You can always just tag something "blog" or "photography" or something else really general (so long as it's still relevant) to fill the quota if you need to- most of your tags should be established ones, though one or two less used ones are fine.

Posting more than four times a day can reduce your potential rewards, as well as turning off potential users. (I aim for one post per day most of the time.) Consistency is important, though, so you should try to post often.

Always make sure to attach a photo to your posts! You should also have a finished profile: Write a description, add a profile picture and a banner- neither needs to be a photo of you, necessarily, but you should have something- and set a website.

There are a lot of really good resources out there for plankton and minnows (new users). You should check out the following groups and services, they offer a lot of valuable resources:

@thesteemengine (Check this one out first- they're an extremely supportive group that can help out in a lot of ways.)
@qurator (These guys offer an excellent liftime upvote to accounts that post consistent quality content.)
@steembasicincome (Another lifetime upvote option.)
@steemstem (The biggest and best STEM curation group in the game. If you're interested in writing or reading about science, check these guys out!)
@geopolis (A fairly new science curation group, this one's dedicated to the study of the Earth.)
@ocd (A curation group that seeks out undervalued new writers.)

And, again, the biggest thing is just patience. Breakout successes are incredibly rare on Steemit- you've got to find your way to success through perseverance and hard work. It takes time, but you'll eventually succeed if you put in the work.

Please feel free to repost this guide on the posts of other plankton & minnows you run into (though I'd appreciate it if you credit me.) If it was useful to you, feel free to check out my posts and give me a follow!

thank you for the tip please upvote and show a plankton some love
