This new top down story driven game with voices from James McAvoy, star wars Daisy Ridley, And the incredible Willem Dafoe. With the multitude of ways you can kick off the story and even end the story all your actions will have a varied outcome. Some of the endings can be somber and sweet. Others can be as chilling and as dark as some of people’s most haunted experiences.

You have multiple ways to start off your choices. “spoilers” You can at first do nothing and a small interaction will play out where you sit down and have a conversation”. This is also apparently one of the endings but does not stop the loops. There are a variety of ways to end the loop that you are on Including this is gonna sound dark. Suicide. For a type of game like this there are areas that you cannot focus on as a player to try and judge it because you know the areas that will not be important. Graphics being one of them. Since it is a top down game your main areas of focus on this game are the story, how the game explores the loops, and how the characters interact with each other in the variety of encounters they will have.

The voice acting is just incredible. I can never argue with how James, Wilem , and Daisy sound together in the game. The emotions the portrayed between one another are so amazing expressed you can lose yourself in the game sometimes. There are times when some actions do not work and it can get frustrating when Wilem as the cop repeatedly smashes your face in with his fist. These emotions can be evident as you continue to go through loops, see, and feel your characters frustration, as he cannot seem to correct what is going on. This ranges from the pain of being hit, to not saving his wife, but oddly does not seem to be a large deal to him when he finally kills the stranger. It is hard to argue why should he since he was getting the hard part of the boot for the past couple hours. In the end I defiantly got the feeling of the butterfly affect the only way the story seemed to allow itself to end was when you decided to leave her and not remember her. Which I felt in the longer haul was kind of the ending they were pointing you at. Well when you learn more from the story, you will see why it is the one that makes ultimate sense.
So understanding that this game is short between 3 to 6 hours depending on achievement level you are aiming for what kind of score can one rightfully give it? I would have to say 8.5 out of 10. This game nails many different aspects for what makes it a great addition to the industry for being a narrative game.
