It's pretty cool when someone else posts something favorable about you on the internet, isn't it? (Admit it, those nice compliments on your posts are part of the reason why we love social media) Well, it's also cool when you stumble along someone promoting your husband's work!
I've never been to Lyon, France, but apparently it was the place to be on September 25-26 of last month when Lyon hosted the Blockchain Game Summit. Many of the brightest minds in blockchain technology gathered to brainstorm and educate on the future of gaming. Among them, was Nicolas Sierro, of Everdreamsoft, an innovative Swiss company.
My husband @joechiappetta has long been impressed with Everdreamsoft products and is part of their BitCrystals Community. However, one of the things that really sets Everdreamsoft apart from the crowd in terms of innovation, is the fact that artists can directly issue their own rare digital art as trading cards and sell them in Everdreamsoft's CrystalsCraft Collection. Joe has sold many cards using this platform, so it was cool to see his designs on the "big screen" as they were presented at the conference. In the above picture, there are arrows pointing to Joe's cards.
My husband rarely needs help from me in coming up with fantastical ideas and images, as I have often imagined his mind as a whirling dervish of creativity. However, often enough, he does need some help with his spelling, in which I am happy to oblige. And occasionally, he asks for assistance in coming up with titles and tags for his art. Case in point, this card He didn't know quite what to call it.
He asked me and I exclaimed, "It's a putrid dragon! Why did you have to make it so ugly?" He replied, "It's ugly because it's a dragon. You want a pretty pink dragon?"
"Perhaps," I replied ;)
So while I could not influence him to make the dragon any prettier, he quickly acknowledges that my skills in coming up with snappy titles can prove quite valuable. So, "Putrid Dragon" it will forever be for eternity on the blockchain.
You can watch Nicolas Sierro's presentation here, and hear about the CrystalsCraft Collection that Joe is a part of at the 19 minute mark.

Putrid dragon sounds pretty scary! Nice to get some recognition from the industry. Congrats Joe.
Thanks for the encouragement @molometer 👍
Hi @denisechips, congrats to Joe! That's great that he's selling a lot of cards. His art is so cool.

Thanks @blazing :)
How fun that you named the dragon! That is a great story. I like the idea of a pink dragon.
Haha! I knew I couldn't be the only one who wants a pretty dragon ;) Thanks Melinda!
Tell him to see what he can come up with just for us!
Haha! His imagination seems to know no bounds, sonit is only a matter of time 😁
That is indeed so cool
Thanks @tattoodjay!
