The old Schwarzenegger film is a classic. Never watched the remake. Yeah it's cheesy, but the soundtrack is solid and the symbolism lasting. "Never give in to the call of doom. Rebel against the dying light. Strength, not slave mentality."
Howards stories are great, too. My favorite is the this one. The gender roles are, well, as bad as you can imagine from a white dude in the 1930s America. But the gritty violence and pre-classical dark world is fun enough.
The Conan soundtrack is aces. That's also something that the game nailed really well - they took the feel of the original soundtrack and reinvisioned it.
It's a fantastic work-out soundtrack. Makes you feel like a warrior.
