What is LiquidSky?

LiquidSky is a new streaming service that is just coming out of beta stages, the idea is to create a cloud network for gamers that allows you to play any PC game on all types of devices.

The service will let members play any game that is on PC across all mac, windows and linux devices, and when they say all devices they really mean it even phones.

The service works around a virtual currency called SkyCredits, you can gain the currency through watching ads once you have watched a few minutes of the adds you will be given a small amount of currency which will equate to an amount of in game time.

Also as it is streamed through a cloud service the specs of your device aren't an issue even playing on a tablet it will run like you're playing on a PC, also you can use more credits to play with higher specs.

I think this is a really cool idea as it allows people to play games without having to spend a ton of money, I also think it will work pretty well for people who aren't sure if they want a game or not as it will allow them to try it before buying.

However as it does let you play any game you could get into a game of something like league of legends with only 40 minutes of credits and the game could last longer, so I'm not completely sure how that would work if the game would just cut out or it allows you to play till the end.

Either way I think something like this could become very widely used and received well, so I look forward to seeing how it turns out.
