As we know, if "HELLDIVERS" is a top-down shooter action game, which favored the multiplayer system as the main base, rather than singleplayer or the story side. For that, here you will play a human role and fight as a whole to maintain the existence of race. No competitive mode will all lead to a cooperative mode that requires you to work together with each other in achieving common goals. Basically, you can play solo and complete a myriad of existing missions by yourself. However, unfortunately this game is more designed as a multiplayer game to be enjoyed to the fullest. Because, every battlefield you face, will be divided into different levels of difficulty and will never be the same. Every mission, you will be taken down to the battlefield, complete a series of missions, and try to survive as much as possible until the plane comes to pick you up. In addition, the mission is also quite diverse, from starting to blow up the enemy headquarters, protect certain objectives, to destroy enemies belonging to specific specific. There are three main races that you will face here, ranging from Bugs, Cyborgs, hingg luminates. Bugs will come with a variety of sizes that mostly rely on robotic attacks. While Cyborgs are a mix between melee and range attacks depending on the variant you are facing. While Illuminates that look like races with more advanced technology make teleport the main feature, moving quickly with a powerful laser attack.

Then, the higher the difficulty level of the mission you are trying to solve, the more useless the weapons you carry from the beginning. However, do not worry, because you still have extra help called Stratagems, which are objects that have shapes like grenades, which you can use every single mission. Strategy is also a reference that ensures you have a power that is comparable to other Alien races, which you are trying to destroy, especially at higher difficulty levels. Through strategic, you can activate various supporting effects, ranging from presenting weapons, to your own personal mechanical. You can customize what strategy you want to bring before you start the mission, up to 4 different types. Then, you are also required to explore planets with a higher level of difficulty. Not only that, the higher your character level, the more variations of weapons you can have, and of course more and more extra Research Points that you can use to strengthen your character.

And Lastly, cooperation to complete a mission, becomes role important in this game. Because the resources you can use are really limited. Unlike other top down shooter games that always provide extra bullets, which you can spit just as easily, because here the bullet is like a sacred object. Quickly exhausted and can only be replenished with supply from Stratagem, you must make sure that any bullets that appear are effective and significant role. Every mission you complete will result in a certain contribution to the struggle of other human beings. Represented by the number of stars earned on each mission you have successfully completed, it will be added to a two-colored pool to show how much influence the human race and the aliens you are fighting. Both Bugs, Cyborgs, and Illuminates each embrace a series of clusters around the Super Earth itself. Each Cluster contains the number of points to be collected as a form of human victory over an alien race in the region and will change color if it is successfully mastered. Cluster by cluster must be taken as a battlefield together before it can move to the end of the cluster, which is positioned as the main headquarters of the aliens.
