Yesterday I saw that they announced a new Hearthstone expansion called "The Witchwood".
It will feature 2 new mechanics
Echo
When you play a creature, it will appear in your hand again and you will be able to play it multiple times in the same turn as long as you have mana.
Rush
The creature will be able to attack another creature in the turn it was summoned. So it is a nerfed "Charge" as you can`t attack heroes.

With the release of "The Wichwood", the expansion "Whispers of the Old Gods" will be rotating out of Standard and into Wild.

I really enjoy the beginning of new expansions, when the meta is fresh and the optimal decks are not figured out yet.

Don't think I've ever encountered witchwood, how do I join the fun? I hope I won't have to spend actual money to get the game cards
You can buy cards but you can also earn them. Earning is obvisously slower :-)

I am really digging the dungeon run. Building as you go is pretty cool. Nice write up. That new echo taunt card could come in handy.
I am not sure about the echo cards though they could be nice but also like cards which never gets used.
Howabout for a Warlock? Destroy a friendly minion....
The possibilities are endless and that Is why you just have to roll with the expansions.
I'm proud to say that I have never paid for anything on Hearthstone.
Lots of games.. sure ...But I have some decent decks.

the chaingang is better for that imo as it only costs 4 mana for 2 minions.

I feel like the new Echo ability COULD be pretty interesting, I say 'could' because sometimes these things are usually just gimmicky and actually have no potential in a 'meta' deck other than filling up your board with useless minions if you have no 'worth it' minions to put down already. However I feel like Rush will be generally good, its so basic but that's what makes it effective, clearing out the opponent's side is always essential. Really excited about these upcoming changes. Great post :).
My thoughts exactly. I think it could very well end up like "inspire" which never got really used.
Rush has the potential to be really powerful
