Today I want to speak about different Base Layout strategies.
Heroes of Mavia isn't just a game; it's a world full of strategic decisions and individual approaches. In this blog post, we'll take a look at the various base layouts and the different strategies players employ to protect their headquarters while securing their resources.
On my current game state, I've upgraded my headquarters to level 6 and delved into the intricacies of base construction.
My goal was to create a balanced layout that would protect my resources from thieves while also preventing my city from being completely destroyed when I'm offline and without a shield.
Some players prefer to ensure that their resources cannot be stolen at all. They focus on placing their gold and oil fields as well as storages within the walls while positioning defenses around them. This strategy minimizes the risk of theft but also increases the likelihood of attacks on the base itself.
Others prioritize not dropping in the rankings and concentrate on ensuring that their storages are not completely destroyed.
They place their gold and oil fields as well as storages outside the walls to use them as an additional line of defense. This strategy makes it easier to deal with ranged attackers from outside but increases the risk of theft.
I opted for a middle ground that combines both approaches. My storage is mostly surrounded by walls to protect it from direct attacks. At the same time, I've placed some gold and oil fields as well as storages outside the walls to use them as an additional defense line.
This strategy provides a balanced protection against theft and attacks, allowing me to manage my resources effectively.
In Heroes of Mavia, there is no "right" or "wrong" strategy when it comes to base layout. Each player has their own preferences and goals that influence their layout and tactics.
Regardless of which strategy you choose, the diversity of base layouts makes Heroes of Mavia a fascinating and consistently challenging game for all players.
