Likewise, the typical Resident Evil experience brings a hardcore mode where, in addition to tough opponents, the game constraints are also supposed to be saved. This means that it is only possible for the typewriter to use the ink strips to be found first. The golden middle way is the standard mode in which you do not need a tape in the machine, the autosave works, the game does not provide the benefits and the enemies are reasonably strong. So everyone can really choose to choose their skills and entitlements.

Newcomers who have no experience with the Resident Evil series will probably be accustomed to some of the features that you find in other games only rarely. But thanks to a careful choice of difficulty and a clear procedure, they should have no problem with the adoption. Veterans are adapting instantly, and surprise them can only be that everything is more intuitive and comfortable to deal with than in the past. We especially appreciate the very practical use of a mouse in the PC version, which most developers of ported or primary console games often can not give advice. This mouse helps you with most of your business - especially when it comes to targeting and changing the camera, which is another big plus.

With one of the previous Residen Evil games that have been upgraded, I criticized unsuitable views when switching the camera automatically and called for change. Many fans have criticized that it can not be changed and does not, because it would not be the same and an aura of the game would be disturbed. But the new Resident Evil 2 has given me the truth that it is possible to solve the view of the show virtually and without the product being touched. Discovered but unselected objects are nicely represented on the map - just like the door you need keys with different symbols.

Resident Evil is characterized by a small inventory where only a few finds can be found. However, they can be stored in a spacious personal chest that you always find on a typewriter to store your position. Initially, you have to do it with a modest inventory, but gradually increase it by collecting pockets - kidneys that permanently add up to two slots. Yes, it happens that sometimes you have to come back after something, because you do not take it anymore, but it is nothing that irritates you. Also, because the game is again designed to return to individual locations by unlocked shortcuts. And with a new item that will allow you to open an inaccessible room or safe (key, chain cutter, lever, control panel, discovered codes ...). Collecting things is intuitive overall, and looking for a place and way of using them naturally.

Object search is linked to puzzles and interaction with the environment. For example, in the demo version, you have been able to solve simple entries with medallions. The shells are quite varied and varied, not too demanding. After a while, everyone should do it. You are waiting for you to rotate the symbol rollers, to switch the switches to set the correct energy level, to activate buttons or objects in the right order, to move shelves, to use chess with refined chess pieces or to adjust the amplitude.

You will gradually get on to several weapons. Most often you use a gun and shotgun, but you can also have a flame thrower. But these are valuable finds and even more valuable are ammunition, which is mostly lack and improvement of armament (muffler, stock, enlarged magazine ...). Cartridges can also be produced by combining different types of fire dust. And other subjects can often and sometimes have to be combined. For example, a series of typical plants in pots are working for Resident Evil. Based on color, they have a healing or other supportive effect, which is more pronounced when mixed and changed to powder. It is an excellent substitute for a curative spray that you find sporadically.

The inventory also collects various non-banal items that you may sooner or later find use of. You do not want to look and turn around to open or find hidden meaning. At times they can be joined or dismantled, and the reflection already has so much needed thing that opens the next path. You can also take boards to pick up the windows of the house, so that no unwanted guest will come in later.

When searching for a police station, underground parking, tunnel, sewerage or laboratory, encounters are frequently encountered with creatures. You can fine-tune a gun and shoot, but sometimes it's better to try it differently and save the ammunition, or you just have no choice as the trays are empty. The zombies are slow and sometimes they can be walked around comfortably or slowly, but in the narrow corridors they sometimes unpleasantly dump you and start digging. However, if you have a grenade or a knife in your inventory, your character is ready for a spectacular attack - you punch the enemy or put an explosive into the papule, throwing it off or throwing it off a nice explosion. If it is a knife, then you must remove it from the victim's wound. However, you are also exposed to bigger threats - fast creatures climbing walls and ceilings, channel and lab mutants, occasional bosses that sometimes pay for certain fines, but you might expect more. The assortment of enemies is not great, but you will have respect for them, because everyone can pose a deadly threat. But not everything that moves is bent on. Sometimes you find the friendly characters you want to talk with, or help or assist you.

The game has grown even after the audio-visual side. You look good at her, although you are often in dark colors lit only by your flashlight. In the menu you will find a lot of graphics settings, including reflections, bloom and other effects, so you can customize it according to your preferences and, of course, set ups. Also includes 4K resolution and ultra wide screen monitors. It was happening to me that the game in some places was self-dimming, most often when I was examining the subjects or in predely scenes and I barely saw anything. However, this problem has been resolved by updating the graphical drivers. Site design and processing are high, as well as character animations, numerous pre-scene scenes and music and sound with high-quality dubbing. A practical camera with any change of angle was already mentioned.

The way to the final will take you about ten hours for the first game, maybe a little less, some more. But add another clock with the other character, with which you can also play an alternative, and it will not be all that much and the game gradually brings more surprises. And, apparently, you're just not so excited - because it has a rich fill. The search and use of objects is comfortably combined with the solution of puzzles and action passages, with neither component being at the expense of others. And all this together with the dark story creates a harmonious and very entertaining whole.

Resident Evil 2 did not seem to be over 20 years old. The rejuvenation cure is very good for him and he is like a mature personality, which has charm, elegance and gameplay, verified by a time that is anxious and still shows its uniqueness. The classic style, especially for the first part of the series, is nonviolently adapted to modern times and still offers something unique, which even many contemporary titles simply do not. And that's why RE will always have their faithful fans, who, thanks to such a remarkable remake, will be joined by another generation of younger generations.
