Can you guess what game is ‘Destined’ for PC?

Unlike its predecessor, Destiny 2 is coming to PC and the beta starts soon! The console beta has already come and gone but if you’re still holding out for it on PC here’s what you need to know.

RELEASE DATES

This time around Destiny is returning to both PlayStation and Xbox while also releasing on PC. Bungie has already run its console beta from the 18th-23rd of July but PC is coming soon. Those that pre-order the game will get access to the beta a day earlier than the rest of the public. Pre-order release is set for August the 28th with the public beta arriving on August the 29th. Both of the beta’s will end on August 31st ready for the official launch on October the 24th. The second installment of Destiny will set you back $89.95 AUD for the standard edition with other editions also available for pre-order on Blizzard.

PC VS CONSOLE?

The age old debate between PC and console fans does not stop here. There is no right answer to the question of which to buy, it all comes down to personal preference. Bungie has said that the PC version is not a port from console, it has been made for PC so fans do not need to worry about that. The game will officially release on console on September the 6th, so if you want to play it more than a whole month earlier than PC, console might be your guy. However, many of those who have already had the opportunity to test out both of the platforms at events, say they would be leaning towards PC.

Bungie have also announced what specifications your computer might need to run the game. NEW MULTIPLAYER

Along with the new campaign, 4 new planets and new missions, there are also changes to the multiplayer mode. Introducing new game modes, new maps and reducing the team sizes aims to bring the game into the competitive scene. Inspired by Overwatch and matching up against the likes of Counter-Strike with 4v4 team based, attack and defend scenarios. The new multiplayer is all about working together.

With the beta release for PC less than a month away, pre-order your copy and receive the Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle. Make sure you keep up to date with everything from Bungie, ready for the official release in October!

Seems like fun! I've only played the first Destiny for a couple of hours, takes up too much time unfortunately :(

I'm looking forward to D2 on PC. I played plenty of D1 on console, but I play mostly PC so it's exciting to see a game that I enjoyed come to that platform.
