The Nintendo Gamecube doesn't get enough love. It was Nintendo's first disc-based system and would be the backbone of the architecture for the Wii and even the Wii U in a lot of ways. The games came on what could best be described at mini-DVDs in an effort to thwart piracy and also keep load times to a minimum. The Gamecube is also that last traditional videogame console that Nintendo has made that didn't rely on a gimmick.
What are some of your favorite Gamecube games?
least favorite nintendo system :(
It's no Wii U
WTF it's way better than Wii U. I mean granted it doesn't have Breath of the Wild but it DOES have the original Super Monkey Ball... which is the best Super Monkey Ball. I smell a Twitter poll.
the gamecube is an underrated classic!
Absolutely love the Gamecube! I remember booting up Luigi's Mansion and being blown away that Luigi actually turned the door knobs on the doors and that he whistles along with the background music!
For a long time it was my preferred console over the PS2 and Xbox. Then I looked at the PS2 library and came to my senses. ;)
