My opinion after playing:
I have really enjoyed the experience and it is hard for me to imagine that someone gets bored during the game with the enormous amount of collectibles and optional objectives that are scattered around each stage. I have even shouted with excitement when doing certain tasks! such is the tension that is breathed in the battlefields of Sniper Elite. And yet, despite all the good, there was, always latent, a feeling of half satisfaction; Yes, I like it, but not as much as I should. And that with your multiplayer options here there is action for a while, and you bet on the cooperative for four players, which is your best asset given that you will survive in missions specifically designed for this mode in a brilliant way, or you will face the competitive one by measuring your forces against other players in duels that at times can become a festival of shots in the lead.
Not all the modalities presented are fun to the same extent, and this is a field in which maybe I should have worked more, but as a complement to the main campaign, and especially talking about the cooperative, I could not complain. Protecting the supply post wave after wave, side by side with three friends, is a brutal experience; so much, like losing this area and being forced to expose yourself to enemy fire while looking for ammunition and first aid kits. What a show! If it is that the Second World War is a conflict that invites the epic. So, I give a wink to the writers, who have not been able to set a good story that links the different missions that make up the main campaign. It has never been the strong point of the saga, but the war, and a scenario like Italy, gave for something more.
In the audiovisual something similar happens. I admire the dimensions of the scenarios, they are truly gigantic and are full of details; its color, lighting, the amount of areas you can explore ... it is really easy to be surprised by the beauty of these places, although some textures do not have much quality and the animations, in general, are quite discreet. Sometimes, the video game suffers from some slowdown; It is not serious, but jerks are noticed at times of maximum tension, especially in the console version. At the sound level, the soundtrack is not very striking or has great prominence; here the important thing is the sounds of war, and these usually meet without great fanfare
